Born in Boston, MA, Christina Bianchi has been involved with environmental education from a young age. At the age of thirteen, she took her first position as a camp counselor at Holliston Elementary Camp, an environmentally-themed day camp. There, she instructed, and eventually created, curricula in arts, ecology, and woodworking. She went on to study fine art and public works at the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston, and Educational Therapy at Emerson College.

Christina began her career in Education at the Cididad Jardim School in Brazil, in an infant immersion program working to help recently-immigrated children adjust to cultural and environmental changes. Upon returning to the US, she continued serving children while working with the SUMMIT educational group. There, she worked with at-risk students transferring from schools that had lost their funding due to the NCLB act. Later, as a State-Accredited instructor for early education and elementary school, Christina tutored students with learning disabilities such as ADD, mild autism, ADHD, and visual and auditory processing disorders.

Currently the Program Director for The Children's Nature Institute, Christina brings her passions for teaching, children and promoting environmental literacy to the agency. In addition to overseeing both the design and implementation of all new education programs and curricula, Christina also works with Development staff on grants related to program development, manages a staff of Environmental Educators, and coordinates and implements CNI docent volunteer training.
