Tonya recently moved back to Los Angeles from New York and has worked in the non-profit and education fields for more than 6 years. She is very passionate about providing access to high-quality education for all children. Tonya is also the Managing Director of Forbidden Fruit Theatre Company, a multi-cultural producing organization that explores social, political, and cultural issues that challenge our society. In addition, she volunteers at Reading to Kids and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Tonya holds a BA from Howard University and MFA from Columbia University.
