Reintroducing and Revitalizing Nature in LA
Through Nature in the City, CNI will coordinate tree and garden plantings in 5-10 inner-city and low-income schools throughout Los Angeles. In partnership with other local non-profits, CNI will not only bring nature back to these communities, but will train volunteers, educators, and children how to care for both the greenery they receive and the environment in general.
Also part of Nature in the City will be a Beach Clean Up at Malibu Lagoon and the installation of a Butterfly Garden for children at Griffith Park along the previously-destroyed Fern Canyon Trail.
