A live collaboration aiming to revitalize nature's impact in urban settings.
Join the Children’s Nature Institute, community leaders and our non-profit partners in a live discussion forum discussing the importance of environmental exposure to disadvantaged populations.
The forum will feature research on the necessaity of nature in the cognitive formation of young children and help to build solutions on how to more effectively revitalize nature in these environments.
Nature Revival will be held on October 29, 2008 at the Griffith Park Auditorium. Invited attendees will be community leaders, local businesses, educators and nonprofit partners. This open forum will present attendees with physiological evidence of the harmful impacts of urban environments on children and then encourage attendees, through a series of questions, to streamline and combine their efforts to more effectively reach populations most in need of these services.
