Join us with your babies, toddlers and children up to 8 years old for an exciting educational outdoor adventure!

Led by CNI Volunteer Walk Leaders , walks are two hours long with many fun and educational activities. Children will search for animal homes and hideaways, listen for animal activity, mimic the sounds of nature, sing songs, smell and touch plants, learn how to treat plants and animals respectfully, learn about colors, shapes and sizes in nature and so much more! Activities vary from site to site and from docent to docent, so every Family Nature Walk is a unique experience!

Family Nature Walks are scheduled on weekdays and weekends at over 40 kid-safe sites in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties year-round. Many sites are stroller accessible.

Reservations are required. Suggested donation is $7 per family. Proceeds from Family Nature Walks help us provide free fieldtrips and workshops for inner-city children, many of whom have never left their urban neighborhoods.
