Outdoor Classes for 2-4 Year Olds
Join The Children’s Nature Institute for Tykes on Trails: Workshops for
children 2-4 years old and their parents. Enjoy hands-on discovery, stories,
crafts, and walks at some of LA’s most beautiful natural parks.
Children will learn about local flora and fauna while
practicing early language, math and science skills. Each week will focus on
a different theme. The workshops are designed to nurture children's innate curiosity
about nature and give parents a chance to bond with their children in peaceful,
natural settings. Reservations required.
Here's what others are saying:

Multi-week series:
Each workshop is held on a particular day of the week and is two hours long . The same series of themes will be presented at different locations so that you may attend the one nearest you. The workshops will vary a little
by location because of the different natural features at each park. Each series of four classes brings a new theme and a nature badge to collect on graduation day!
June
Spring here and the wild flowers are in full bloom! For the month of June, join a CNI walk leader for a fun and flower-filled walk at one of your favorite parks!
Come enjoy stories, trail activities and a great walk at Franklin Canyon, Temescal Canyon, or Solstice Canyon!
Also continuing this month, we will be incorporating a focused vocabulary list that will connect our walks at each of the parks.
